Family Farm Stays

CLOSED FOR 2020 season due to covid-19.
This is a small farm-experience. Learn to milk goats, feed and care for the animals, ride horses, do some artwork in the coolest vintage art trailer, play a game of ping-pong in the garage "hang out" or just relax and let the kids play among the farm. There are often special activities going on that you are welcome to participate in such as: fence fixing, animal grooming, goat training, gardening, harvesting, etc. You do not have to participate in farm activities to visit us, lots of people go on hiking, surfing, mountain biking day trips while visiting. Be ready to share this experience with others! We allow two groups per visit. We have one communal wood fire pit area and it is fun to sit around the fire and get to know new friends. 1-2 cars per family. If you have more than two cars, let me know!
Description of the space and what is included: You are paying for a farm day visit and we invite you to stay overnight as our guests! The tent area includes tent platform, a communal fire pit to share with rustic wood benches, (we provide firewood and kindling for your stay!), A fully equipped community outdoor cook area with everything you need (pots, pans, utensils, cups, plates, bowls, etc.), 3 picnic tables (one for each family group and an extra), a 2-burner propane stand up camp stove with propane. A welcome basket on each table for each group with a booklet describing our farm. Our organic Farm-to-table breakfast buffet is included as a gift to our guests on both Saturday and Sunday (and holiday Monday) mornings starting at 8:30am! Breakfast may include: farm fresh eggs, vegetable dish, organic waffle mix with a self-serve waffle maker and fixings, organic oatmeal with a variety of toppings, seasonal homemade goat cheeses and fresh fruit. Start the day off with Organic hot coffee/tea and goat milk hot cocoa every morning on the deck at 7:30am. We offer a fully serviced porta-potty, FREE hot outdoor propane shower use.
